Trail Fees

The Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Area is funded through the Idaho Parks and Recreation Park ‘N Ski Pass system and through club membership fees. Under the Park-n-ski pass program, vehicles that park at the trailhead must display a $25 annual pass, or a $7.50 daily pass. Both of these passes are available at a variety of retail outlets in the area, including Hyperspud Sports in Moscow. A portion of the funds collected from the passes is used to cover part of the grooming expenses. You can also pay your membership dues for the Palouse Divide Nordic ski club at Hyperspud sports or download a membership form from this website.

We have at least several volunteers who groom the main trails  on an irregular basis – depending on snow conditions. We area always looking for more volunteers. The Palouse Divide Lodge situated just above the trailhead, helps by storing our grooming equipment (some of which belongs to the National Forest Service) that club volunteers use to groom the trail system.

You can help by paying your annual membership dues to the Palouse Divide Nordic ski club.  These fees cover the fall/winter/spring ski season.  Proceeds are used to pay for grooming expenses,  snow plowing,  and the port-a-potty rental at the trailhead.  Please join.  Dues are $25. per season for a family or $15. for an individual.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the grooming (it is all done by volunteers) please contact us. We would love to have your help.

The Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Club is an Idaho non-profit organization of volunteers for the sole purpose of maintaining the nordic ski trails at the Palouse Divide area.
